Team Page in Care Team

Audit team notification status, Task Type subscriptions, and coverage across your facility.

The Team page gives managers and administrators a full view of every team member's notification configuration: who is on, what they are covering, and where gaps may exist. Use it to audit coverage before a shift, troubleshoot alert issues, and confirm the team is set up correctly.

⚠️ The Team page is visible to Care Team members with a Management or Notification Admin role only.

What the Team Page Shows

Each row represents one staff member and displays:

  • Name: name, email, and phone number

  • Role: assigned role (Clinician, Management, Support Services, etc.)

  • Task Notifications: chips showing each Task Type subscribed to, with a number indicating how many locations are covered for that type

  • Last Login: the date they last signed into Vital Care Team

  • Notifications: whether the master notifications switch is currently On or Off

Reading Task Notification Chips

Each Task Type chip shows the Task Type name and a location count.

  • A number greater than 0: the staff member is actively subscribed and covering that many locations. They will receive alerts for requests matching both that Task Type and their selected locations.

  • A 0 on a chip: the staff member is subscribed to that Task Type but has no locations selected. They are not providing active coverage and will not receive alerts. Direct them to Settings › Notifications to select at least one location.

Filtering the Team Page

Use the filters at the top to narrow the view:

  • Facility: filter to a specific facility

  • Role: filter by staff role to see all Clinicians, Management, or Support Services staff

  • Notifications: filter to show only staff with notifications On or Off

Common Uses

Confirming coverage before a shift.

Filter by Notifications: On to see who is currently active. Check Task Notification chips to confirm the right Task Types and locations are covered. Any chip showing 0 means that staff member is not providing coverage for that Task Type despite being subscribed.

Troubleshooting a staff member not receiving alerts.

Find the staff member on the Team page and check: Is their Notifications toggle On? Do their chips show the expected Task Types? Does each chip show a location count greater than 0? If any of these are off, direct them to Settings › Notifications.

Identifying coverage gaps across the team.

Scan the Task Notifications column for chips with a 0 or staff members with no chips at all. Cross-reference with the Missing staff coverage filter in Settings › Tasks › Operating Hours to see which Task Type and location combinations are affected.
